LAS CRUCES — They liked the Jumbotrons and the interactive exhibits.

They didn’t like the ticket prices and the announcers.

Two weeks after the big show, X Prize organizers met Friday with the public to get feedback on the event.

About a dozen people, including Mayor Bill Mattiace, showed up at City Hall to comment on the Oct. 20-21 event at the Las Cruces International Airport.

Compliments went to the camera views displayed on the Jumbotrons, selection of music, improved food choices, and a better organized parking system than last year.

They were less impressed with the ticket prices ($10 for one adult; $15 for two adults; parking $5), announcers who did not seem knowledgeable and some disorganization in promotions.
